Op-Ed: It's Time to Fix the Ramp

It’s easy to pass the buck in politics. If a problem is too hard or too costly to fix, sometimes the most politically expedient course of action is to blame another level of government.

There’s a problem in my neighbourhood of Willowdale in North York that for more than a decade has been the perfect example of this all too common phenomenon.

Province Funds Addition to McKee Public School

The Ontario government recently announced it is investing over $500 million to build 30 new schools and make upgrades to 15 existing facilities. 

The province has given the Toronto District School Board approval for an addition to the McKee Public School. The investment will provide a new, quality learning environment for students and help ease school overcrowding in Willowdale. This project is part of the province’s capital investment program to support students with better learning spaces.
