Yesterday, Ontario received 194,500 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine from the Serum Institute in India, which are set to expire on April 2, 2021. In order to use these vaccines before they expire, the government has partnered with pharmacies and family doctors to administer these vaccines in Ontario's hotspots. Starting today, people aged 60-64, will be able to book an appointment by phone at a pharmacy to receive the Astra Zeneca vaccine. The vaccine will available starting Friday March 12, 2021. Here is a list of pharmacies in Willowdale that have the vaccine:
Starting this weekend, primary care physicians will also be able to administer the Astra Zeneca vaccine for people aged 60 – 64. Contact your family doctor to make an appointment. As of today, one million Ontarians have been vaccinated against COVID-19 and another million will be vaccinated by the end of March. Here are some important things to keep in mind:
