Jennings, author of the Murdoch mystery books, will discuss her newest in the Charlotte Frayne series, Heat Wave.
Heat Wave is set in Toronto in the summer of July 1936 during a record-breaking heat wave. Two events set the book’s plot in motion: an anti-Semitic hate letter, and a request from a veteran of the First World War announcing what he believes is systematic embezzlement. The two events, are weaved together in the book.
