MPP Stan Cho Appointed as Parliamentary Assistant to Minister of Finance
TORONTO– Ontario Premier Doug Ford has named Willowdale MPP Stan Cho as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Finance, Rodd Phillips. MPP Cho previously served as Parliamentary Assistant to the President of the Treasury Board, Peter Bethlenfalvy.
MPP Cho is excited to take on this new role and work alongside Minister Phillips. Our government’s focus is reducing the province’s $15 billion deficit, and MPP Cho is excited to continue working to balance the budget and return financial transparency and accountability to Ontario.
Since being elected a little over a year ago, our government has been working hard to put the people of Ontario at the center of everything we do. The previous Liberal government failed to set clear fiscal priorities, and this approach jeopardized the program and services that Ontarians rely on.
“Balancing the budget and restoring accountability to our finances will continue to be our top priority, and I’m excited to join the Ministry of Finance to help with this important work and to help communicate our bold plan to protect what matters most,” said MPP Cho.
